Festival of Undiscovered Grapes - Los Angeles, CA
Thousands of grape varieties exist around the world and more than 110 different varieties are planted in California. But of those 110+ varieties, nine varieties dominate. In fact, those nine varieties (Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Grigio on the white grape side, and Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petit Sirah among red grapes), make up 93% of the total wine grape plantings in California.
IT’S TIME TO DISCOVER THE OTHER 7%!
Undiscovered Grapes are any of the remaining 100+ wine varieties grown in California that comprise the remaining 7% of total plantings. These are grapes with origins in France, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Italy, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, South America, and right here in California. Some of these grapes were among the earliest vines planted in the state by its original settlers. These grapes are vitally important to the history of winemaking in California, yet are woefully under-represented in the market today.
The Festival of Undiscovered Grapes aims to change this. The Festival of Undiscovered Grapes is an opportunity to discover these lesser-known and uncommon wines, and your chance to taste the great history of California winemaking and its future.
VIP tickets are $125 - you get a two-hour head start!
GA tickets are $75.

Above the Vines: A Hilltop Tasting with McPrice
Join us for an unforgettable, members-only wine club experience high above the vineyard.
On Saturday, March 28, small groups of just 20 guests will be taken to our Hilltop for an intimate afternoon hosted by Founder and Winemaker McPrice (Mac) Myers and Director of Viticulture, Aron Nevarez. This is a rare opportunity to connect directly with Mac and Aron and experience the wines where they’re grown.
You’ll taste through our newest releases in a guided, educational setting, then head out into the vineyard for a walk among the vines—soaking in sweeping views from over 1,800 feet above sea level. The experience concludes with a wine country picnic, thoughtfully prepared and enjoyed alongside the wines and the scenery that defines this place.
This is not your typical tasting. It’s personal, immersive, and intentionally small—designed for members who want to go deeper, ask questions, and experience the vineyard from the inside out.
Details:
- Wine Club Members Only
- Maximum 20 guests per session
- Hosted by McPrice & Aron
- Includes guided tasting, vineyard walk, and picnic
- Advance reservation required
Space is extremely limited. We recommend reserving early to secure your seat at the top.
